Our wait staff can assist you and your guests with all aspects of food and non-alcoholic beverage service.


Our captains are essentially waiters in a supervisory position. They are our senior wait staff who have worked many weddings and events. They are the point person between BRES staff and your event manager. Captains will coordinate with your event contact upon arrival and get pertinent details about your set-up, breakdown, and timeline. Each event with wait staff will have a captain.


Before The Event

Waiters can be directed to meet the delivery driver and assist with loading in food to the venue. They will set-up a single or double sided* buffet, or assist in getting food ready for a family style or plated and served meal, as directed. Wait Staff can assist in setting up and serving stationed or tray passed hors d’oeuvres and desserts. They can take a dining room from bare tables and chairs to completely set tables, given a template. Although our waiter staff are not floral designers, they are happy to set constructed floral and table numbers (given a map). However, they will not be able to assist in arranging flowers or the assembly of decor or gift bags.

During The Event

Wait Staff are on hand to ensure that the food tables remain tidy, plates and implements available, and your guests attended to. During the event they will be busing tables as necessary, assisting guests and making sure your food and non-alcoholic beverages remain stocked and tidy.

After The Event

As your event winds down wait staff will be seeing to food and beverage trash, making sure rentals are processed and ready for pick-up and that your venue is restored to it’s original condition. Leaving your venue in good shape aids in ensuring the return of your deposit.
